"All my glass is handmade in my studio in the centre of Taunton, Somerset. Hand blown, mouth blown, studio, art, designer – its all the same. It comes down to me and a blob of hot molten glass that I have to transform into hopefully a thing of beauty – vase, bowl, perfume bottle or my personal favourite – anything to drink out of.

I first started glassblowing at art college, where I had originally enrolled to do pottery but found myself increasingly attracted to the myriad possibilities of working with molten glass. I enjoyed the freedom that the material afforded me, coupled with the spontaneity of the processes. To cut a long story short, I gradually learnt the techniques to compliment my ideas and developed a personal style."
