Roy Holding

After National Service in the fifties, Roy completed a formal art education at Barnet Art College in Hertfordshire. Since then he has continued his love painting, particularly watercolour painting.

Roy has exhibited throughout the country, his work is held in private and corporate collections throughout the UK and also be seen Internationally in Canada, America, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, China and Japan.

With strong links at Art Works in Milton Keynes where he has run art workshops on watercolour techniques, he also works with students of all ages at his studio in Great Lindford where he has worked full time for the last seven years. He continues to be inspired by rural landscapes with architectural interest; like those found in remote areas of Wales and Scotland.
