Hannah Nunn

Though a city girl by birth, Hannah found great inspiration in the countryside when she studied 'Crafts' at Carmarthen college in West Wales. There she stayed for many years, raising her two small children, sketching and drawing in the fields and woodland and gathering her ideas.

Hannah started by making paper cut greetings cards before one day realising the amazing silhouettes they projected when held up to the light. Creating lamps and lampshades seemed the next exciting step, an idea which was backed by a Research and Development grant from the Arts Council.

She now works from her studio in Hebden Bridge.
