Ed Robinson
After completing a graphic design and illustration course at Great Yarmouth School of Art (now Norwich School of Art), Ed moved to London working for some of the leading design and advertising agencies. During his career he obtained several national and international design awards and became a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers.
Ed has two distinct and contrasting styles of painting. His oil paintings are influenced by the past masters of Turner, Walter Sickert and contemporary painters such as Bernard Dunstan and Fred Cuming. They are a blend of form and colour that reflect the Camden School Group.
Ed's second style has a far more bold and graphic approach using a collage style that he developed during his student days using printed letter forms in conjunction with watercolours, acrylics, oils etc. to produce startling sea and landscapes.
